The 2025 Chevy Equinox EV is Chevy’s entry-level electric vehicle, but it’s far from basic. It offers an impressive range, great performance, and smart tech to keep you connected on drives. Let’s discover the features of the 2025 Equinox EV.
Electric Range and Performance
The 2025 Equinox EV is built on Chevy’s state-of-the-art battery platform, which offers serious range and performance. You can get the electric Equinox with either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The front-wheel-drive Equinox offers 319 miles of driving range as per EPA estimates. AWD models come in a little lower, with 307 miles.
Whether you’re driving in the city or cruising on the highway, the Equinox EV offers ample power and thrill. Front-wheel drive models push out 220 horsepower, up from 213 horsepower in the previous model. The all-wheel-drive powertrain offers the most power output of 300 horsepower.
Battery and Charging
You have options when it comes to charging your EV. The standard module supports Level 1 charging with the available Dual Level Charge Cord. It also supports Level 2 fast charging at home, delivering up to 11.5 kW.
The all-wheel-drive RS has an optional 19.2 kW charging module to speed up charging even more. All models are also capable of DC fast public charging, which adds around 70 miles of range in just 10 minutes.
Vehicle Technology
The Equinox EV has smart tech to keep you entertained and connected. A 17.7-inch color touchscreen display serves as the entertainment interface. With Google built-in, you can access all Google services like Play, Maps, Assistant, and more. You can download your favorite streaming apps from Google Play and access content right on the screen.
You also get a 5G Wi-Fi hotspot, which can connect to multiple devices simultaneously. The tech setup up front also features an 11-inch digital instrument panel where vehicle info is displayed. For audio, all models get a high-quality stereo system with six speakers.
Interior and Comfort
The cabin is roomy and well-appointed with standard cloth seats, which can be optioned for Evotex in the RS trim. Heated front seats, an 8-way power driver’s seat, a heated steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a power sunroof are all available. The EV offers 26.40 cubic feet of cargo space, and up to 57.20 cubic feet with the rear seat stowed.
Advanced Driver Assistance Features
Every model is equipped with Chevy Safety Assist, with safety features like forward collision alert automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane keep assist, and lane departure warning. You also get adaptive cruise control, reverse automatic braking, and rear cross-traffic braking. Rear park assist and the standard HD rear vision camera help you reverse safely in and out of parking spots.
